Please don't give up. I am trying very hard to educate people here on Vancouver Island in Canada. My heart goes out to all of you. But be strong and firm. If these people think such unthinkable brutality is all right, then we have the same right to say NO WAY IS IT OK! I wrote a long letter to Ms. Oprah Winfrey so that she would create a show exposing the horrific suffering of animals in China and Korea. So far, her company Harpo has not accepted the letter. It was unsolicited and I am trying desperately to have them accept it and then make an informed decision. I would love for this to blow up worldwide and shock people awake. Keep your fingers crossed and pray with faith.

I am from Laval,Quebec, a suburb of Montreal Canada and I am shocked that most people don't know the cruelty done to cats and dogs in China. We have all heard that some chinese eat cats and dogs howerer most people don't know the conditions that they live in prior to being skinned and I do warn every single person that 20% of all fur product coming in from China or other asian countries are from cats and dogs. I am outraged that China is getting the summer olympics. Write to the chinese government or to the chinese embassy in Washington,dc or Ottawa, Canada or whatever country you are from.

I believe when "carlos" mentioned cows, he meant the ones being killed due to kosher (feel free to correct my points as i have not checked), the cows go into a machine concious, are tipped upside down, and theyre tracheas (windpipes) are removed while they are still completely concious, and then left to suffocate. That is as cruel as this video, also the dolphin massacre video is fairly extreme.

i believe actions should be taken upon these people similair to the actions "sea shepherd" performs upon whaling ships, some problems just cannot be solved politically.

I'm a Chinese Malaysian too :D I love animals. My family has a long history of animal lovers especially dogs. We do our best to help them and might as well help them find a new home. However, I'm still proud of my religion, I'm proud of my motherland! Yet what they did in this video is seriously considered very cruel and that's why we need people like you who're aware of HUMAN errors. Somehow I don't get the point why should I donate to you. You must prove your worth from scammers. For example, how do I know where you got this video. What would you need the money for. These people will pay for what they have done. HOW can we stop this? We are slaughtering cattle, pigs, and chicken the same. Do we go up in arms to stop that? NO! We would damage the economy if we were to go against cattle being slaughtered. Just think, the by-products of a slaughtered cow contribute to things such as health and beauty aids and clothing, not just food. Greed and vanity go together to make a holocaust on these animals that can be overlooked by most of the population. Though it is true that the Chinese are generally more cruel to animals than any other counrty, don't be ashamed of who you are. Yes, there are a lot of wrong, sick and twisted people in this world, that doesn't mean that their brothers and sisters are cruel to. This is barbaric. These animals were people's pets. Yes, there's animal cruelty all over the world, but China takes it to a new extreme. Have you seen or heard about the skinning of live animals in China? I've seen it, it's disgusting. They're not even dead as they begin to hack off their limbs and skin the fur.

I've been to slaughter houses before all over Western Canada, and not once have I seen pigs or cows treated in such a way. This is outrageous, I don't think I've cried so much in a long time.

I believe that what you showed was wrong yes. Horribly wrong. But, your outlook on the whole chinese race was tainted by a few misfits and those who choose to do wrong. I believe this goes on all around and should be stopped but you can't blame a whole race for a percentage of it's peoples actions. Someone else also had a good point. As in any mass production trade the animals are horrible mistreated because in their eyes they don't see a pet or a living thing they see a hamburger or just meat in general. They see it as they are going to kill these animals for food anyway whats the point of treating them well?
