We(CACA) are quite a special group of animal rights activists,all made up of oppressed Chinese liberals.We are keen on this cause especially because we are part of the Chinese people who are world known for brutalizing animals.We must confess we are deeply disturbed and disgusted by how our fellow people are brutalizing animals like even dogs and cats,in addition to humans.We share a deep sense of agony,guilt and shame as members of this callous Civilization .We are so sorry for the animals tortured by the Chinese that we feel obliged to do something.The following revolting video about the shocking dog and cat fur trade in China ,which shows unambiguously the miserable life of animals in mainland China and which we are watching in tears, is a good starting point for you to understand why we don't have any choice but to care.If you want to show your support to our work that's not so easy in the Chinese community,you're welcome to make a donation of any amount.

I am not Chinese. I am American. However, how is this different from what they do to Cows, birds and other animals that end up being food? And what difference does it make that Chinesse people are doing this? Personally I have seen worse here in USA, and South America. Obviously, not always on cats and dogs but what difference does it make if the animal was a pet at some point? They all are living beings. If somebody is going to feel bad about this, then stop being hypocritical and give up meat all together. Actually, give up your way of life since animal torture is in absolutely every industry in this world. Unless you live in the peak of a mountain where you cannot hurt any other living being then maybe you might have achieved your goal, but by the time you post a comment using a computer then you already fucked up since in order to develop computer chips some of the technology involves testing in organic beings, "organic" meaning living thing. I am all for you guys stopping this cruelty, but think about the shit you are getting into. Also, to hell with the Chinesse haters. Fuck, if a white dude kills my cow, which to me is a pet, am I supposed to assume he is a barbarian or that his country is full of them. THINK before posting. I believe that what you showed was wrong yes. Horribly wrong. But, your outlook on the whole chinese race was tainted by a few misfits and those who choose to do wrong. I believe this goes on all around and should be stopped but you can't blame a whole race for a percentage of it's peoples actions. Someone else also had a good point. As in any mass production trade the animals are horrible mistreated because in their eyes they don't see a pet or a living thing they see a hamburger or just meat in general. They see it as they are going to kill these animals for food anyway whats the point of treating them well? Even though they see it as that way I believe that everything should be treated with respect. Only in some peoples mind does that actuly happen, we all know what really goes on because at one point in your life you've mistreated something. I say just try to help with what you can and do your best to end this cruelty.

IN REPLY TO CARLOS: About the conditions being just as bad for cows: I worked at a slaughter house before, the animals weren't abused and are killed instantly suffering no pain.
This is barbaric. These animals were people's pets. Yes, there's animal cruelty all over the world, but China takes it to a new extreme. Have you seen or heard about the skinning of live animals in China? I've seen it, it's disgusting. They're not even dead as they begin to hack off their limbs and skin the fur.
I've been to slaughter houses before all over Western Canada, and not once have I seen pigs or cows treated in such a way. This is outrageous, I don't think I've cried so much in a long time.

These people will pay for what they have done. HOW can we stop this? We are slaughtering cattle, pigs, and chicken the same. Do we go up in arms to stop that? NO! We would damage the economy if we were to go against cattle being slaughtered. Just think, the by-products of a slaughtered cow contribute to things such as health and beauty aids and clothing, not just food. Greed and vanity go together to make a holocaust on these animals that can be overlooked by most of the population. Disgusting how we can sit and watch that video,yet most of us won't contribute a thing to save one of those animals. Shame is on us.

I'm a Chinese Malaysian too :D I love animals. My family has a long history of animal lovers especially dogs. We do our best to help them and might as well help them find a new home. However, I'm still proud of my religion, I'm proud of my motherland! Yet what they did in this video is seriously considered very cruel and that's why we need people like you who're aware of HUMAN errors. Somehow I don't get the point why should I donate to you. You must prove your worth from scammers. For example, how do I know where you got this video. What would you need the money for. SPCA and PAWS are examples of non-profit organization but they don't do one post and as donation. You might as well critisize all you want about your own Chinese blood but I'll support it! There's far more worst than these animals suffering for example child trade. And these weren't only caused by CHINESE but inhumane humans. I'm all for dirtyhumaneverywhere. zining...hating chinese because of this? You should have mention other countries as well :D Poor you...must have been some racism conflict to have drove you to say "I hate chinese most". I believe when "carlos" mentioned cows, he meant the ones being killed due to kosher (feel free to correct my points as i have not checked), the cows go into a machine concious, are tipped upside down, and theyre tracheas (windpipes) are removed while they are still completely concious, and then left to suffocate. That is as cruel as this video, also the dolphin massacre video is fairly extreme.
i believe actions should be taken upon these people similair to the actions "sea shepherd" performs upon whaling ships, some problems just cannot be solved politically.

I am from Laval,Quebec, a suburb of Montreal Canada and I am shocked that most people don't know the cruelty done to cats and dogs in China. We have all heard that some chinese eat cats and dogs howerer most people don't know the conditions that they live in prior to being skinned and I do warn every single person that 20% of all fur product coming in from China or other asian countries are from cats and dogs. I am outraged that China is getting the summer olympics. Write to the chinese government or to the chinese embassy in Washington,dc or Ottawa, Canada or whatever country you are from.
Please don't give up. I am trying very hard to educate people here on Vancouver Island in Canada. My heart goes out to all of you. But be strong and firm. If these people think such unthinkable brutality is all right, then we have the same right to say NO WAY IS IT OK! I wrote a long letter to Ms. Oprah Winfrey so that she would create a show exposing the horrific suffering of animals in China and Korea. So far, her company Harpo has not accepted the letter. It was unsolicited and I am trying desperately to have them accept it and then make an informed decision. I would love for this to blow up worldwide and shock people awake. Keep your fingers crossed and pray with faith.
